What Makes Us Different
We want every guest to feel important whether it is sandwich order on the food truck to feeding 3,000 of your employees. Brent likes to be involved in all aspects of the catering process and is involved from the cooking process to the serving of your guest. He likes to interact with guest and make sure they are satisfied with their meals.

From Our Kitchen to the Heart of Haubstadt: Pappa Bear’s is moving in!
When we announced our new location on Weinbach in Evansville, some thought we were leaving the community that supported our start. However, we are excited to announce that we are expanding in Haubstadt as well! You can now come and see Pappa Bear and his crew at Nisbet Inn "World's Coldest Beer"!
That is right, Haubstadt opened their arms to us as we were getting on our feet and now it is time to put your feet up and let us serve you! Brent (aka Pappa Bear) and Kathy Weatherwax are officially the proud new owners of the legendary Nisbet Inn. You have known Nisbet Inn for their ribs, smoked chicken, and from-scratch sides since 1912 and that will not be changing! As the summer warms up you can also still count on us for the coldest beer in the world!
In addition to what you have always expected when dining at Nisbet Inn we are now also catering. We will now bring those Nisbet Inn classic dishes to your next event. Pappa Bears Catering will continue the menus you have grown to love as well. We are excited to offer even more meal options for your next catering event with the same quality service that we have always offered. We invite you to take a short drive out to the country, pull up a chair, and relax with us. We look forward to seeing you at the Inn!
